Suzuki Supports Drought Relief

Suzuki Marine has announced it will donate a portion of its proceeds from outboard sales to assist with drought relief.

For the month of August, proceeds from every outboard unit sold in Australia will go towards helping farmers affected by drought, with Suzuki Marine donating in excess of $10,000 to Charleville-based charity, Aussie Helpers.

As Suzuki Marine has a large number of dealers and customers located in regional areas, John Haines of The Haines Group said the brand wanted to do its bit to assist drought relief efforts.

“We understand there are a number of rural and regional communities being impacted by the devastating drought at the moment, many of whom are long-time supporters of our brand,” said John.

“We want to show our support to our customers in these communities and the wider farming community in general by donating a portion of our outboard sales to provide vital assistance during these difficult times.”

Monies will be collected from sales of all 2-stroke and 4-stroke outboards purchased through Suzuki Marine’sauthorised dealer networkup to Friday, 31 August 2018.

“We encourage anyone out there in the market for an outboard to contact their local dealer today,or make a donation directly through the Aussie Helpers website at aussiehelpers.org.au,and help support Aussie farmers,” said John.
