Fish & Boat

Fish and Boat has been the Bible for anglers and small boat enthusiasts in the north of Australia for more than 30 years.

It has actively promoted a sensible approach to the country’s most popular recreational activity, supporting bag and size limits and closed seasons where it is known to promote resurgence of fish stock. The Magazine also acts as a tool for tourism by promoting the theme that the anglers in the north catch “fish as big as people”.

The paper is a lively, informative but light-hearted look at fishing and fishing experiences, most of it contributed from its wide readership.

We at Fish and Boat like to look outside of the box, focus on fresh content, and with Editor Lee Brake at the helm there always more than a few laughs to be had. You will never feel like you are reading the same content on repeat, because we believe originality and variety are the spice of life.

We like to cover all aspects of fishing, from hardcore offshore action to tranquility bushing sweet-water sessions and everything in between, and we also tackle the big issues. If there’s something that effects recreational fishers in Queensland, Fish and Boat will bring that issue to the fore and offer expert commentary.
